2. Fallopia Multiflora Extract Source
Polygonum multiflora, also known as Fallopia multiflora, is a perennial herbb of Chinese traditional medicine. It is of thick roots, long oval, and dark brown. It is palnted in southwestern Shaanxi, southern Gansu, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou, also distributed in Japan. The roots of fallopia multiflora contain terpenoids, mainly emodin, chrysophanol and emodin methyl ether, rhein, chrysophanone, and terpenoids. As a common nourishing Chinese medicine, polygonum multiflorum has been widely used in medicines, health products and daily chemical products.
