1. Tremella Extract Overview
Tremella Extract is a water-soluble natural cosmetic raw material, extracted from fungus plant Tremella. Its main biological active ingredient is Tremella polysaccharides. Polysaccharide molecules are rich in polar groups, such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. The groups can form hydrogen bonds with water molecules to bind a large amount of water. Therefore, Tremella Fuciformis Extract has a good moisturizing effect. It can be used as a humectant and is called “plant hyaluronic acid”. Tremella extract inhibits collagenase activity and promotes the production of certain biochemical components, thus showing a skin-activating and anti-wrinkle effect.

2. Tremella Extract Source
Tremella is also called snow mushroom, or silver ear mushroom. It has the reputation of “Crown of Fungus”. It is an edible Fungus that has been a traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Tremella contains more colloids, which can absorb a lot of water. Tremella is not only a treasure in the sweet Chinese food , but also a well-known medicine. It is rich in colloids, multiple vitamins, 17 kinds of amino acids and glycogen. Tremella contains an important organic phosphorus, which has the function of eliminating muscle fatigue.

The hydrophobic protective layer formed by Tremella Extract on skin surface can retain moisture 490 times stronger than hyaluronic acid.
