PMOil-control® 9574 is a natural compound ingredient composing of white willow bark, kava pepper and pueraria lobata. Why we choose the three plants as its raw materials?
White willow bark extract is rich in salicin, which is a precursor of aspirin and has a good anti-inflammatory and oil control effect.
Kava extract significantly inhibited the expression of TRPV1 and inhibited the conduction of 97% of the action potential.
Pueraria extract is good for nourishing the skin and improving the dilation and softening of capillaries.
When we use our technology to combine the three botanical extracts together, then there is PMOil-control® 9574. It’s a good 5α-reductase inhibitor to reduce sebum secretion and treat acne on the skin. Also, PMOil-control® 9574 can achieve anti-inflammation effect, and soothe skin irritation.
5α-reductase plays an important role in skin androgen metabolism. The testosterone in androgens is converted into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the enzyme 5α-reductase. DHT binds to the androgen receptor (AR) in the sebaceous glands, promoting excessive sebum production and causing acne. DHT also promotes the development of the sebaceous glands, making them more capable of producing sebum, leading to excessive oil production and acne. Therefore, in order to treat oily sensitive skin, it’s necessary to inhibit 5α-reductase.
- PMOil-control®9574 oil control effect
As a 5α-reductase inhibitor, PMOil-control® 9574 is effective to reduce oil reduction and treat oily sensitive skin. Plamed has prove its effectiveness as below test.
The 5α-reductase inhibition rate of PMOil-control® 9574 is 95.61% at the concentration of 1%, and the inhibition rate of PMOil-control® 9574 is higher than that of the control group with a statistical difference of P-value <0.05. The test result indicates that PMOil-control® 9574 is effective in controlling oil. The control groups are PCA zinc, Salicylic acid, Yeast zinc, they are all popular and common used in cosmetics. However, their effectiveness in oil control is much weaker than PMOil-control® 9574. 1.0% PMOil-control® 9574’s oil control effect is better than salicylic acid, PCA acid, yeast zinc 2-3 times.
- PMOil-control®9574 anti-inflammation effect
Use Sodium Lauryl Sulfonate as a stimuli, it can result in skin-inflammation and accumulation of neutrophils. 0.12% PMOil-control® 9574 inhibits the accumulation of 74% of neutrophils, indicating its potent anti-inflammatory and soothing effect.
Note: The lower the number of neutrophils, the stronger the soothing and anti-inflammatory effect, and PMOil-control® 9574 group significantly less than the model control group, with a significant soothing effect.
PMOil-control® 9574 is increasingly popular in China mainland, many cosmetic brands has added it in their skincare products for oil control. It has a good water solubility, therefore, it can be used in almost every form, such as toner, essence, lotion, cream, gel, eye cream, spray and so on.
