1 What is the difference between icariin and icariins of epimedium herb extract?

Spectrum display: Icariin only reflects the area of one peak on the liquid phase spectrum, while icariins will include the area of the peak next to it.
Raw materials used: Generally, the raw material used for icariins is Epimedium sagittatum, and the content of epimedin C is above 1%. Most of the icariin currently use Epimedium brevicornu Maxim, which is mainly produced in Gansu and Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi. The content of epimedium icariin is above 0.5%, among which the Gansu raw material is better, and the icariin can reach above 0.8%.
Detection method: The icariins uses methanol and water, which is an immature product of the 2000 edition of the Pharmacopoeia.
