Plamed conducted an experiment on keratinocytes that has proven that Plamed DCR®516 (Kava Root Extract) is a natural TRPV1 inhibitor.
Experimental data showed that 0.781mg/mL of DCR516 resulted in a significant decrease in TRPV1 protein content and a 28.3% down regulation of expression. It indicates that DCR516 achieves the soothing and anti-sensitizing effect by inhibiting the expression of TRPV1.
