China Cosmetic Ingredients Market Dynamics in the First Half of 2024
On February 21, 2025, the 2025 PCHi (Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients) concluded successfully!
We focus on the field of natural ingredients for sensitive skin, and brought a new product to the show – the new concept of exfoliating ingredient PMRefresh® Willow! This ingredient attracted a lot of attention from visitors and the booth was bustling with activity.
Currently the mainstream exfoliation methods are physical exfoliation, chemical exfoliation (salicylic acid, etc.), biological enzyme exfoliation (bromelain, etc.). They are through the use of external forces to achieve the effect of exfoliation, with a certain degree of damage and irritation.
Consumers are more willing to accept natural active factors to activate their own exfoliating system to achieve skin refresh. PMRefresh® Willow meets this potential demand by increasing KLK7 content and inhibiting SPINK5 to achieve a gentle and safe exfoliation effect. We have tested PMRefresh® Willow doesn’t contain salicylic acid.
The products that received the most interest from visitors were:
1. Natural instant anti-irritant product: PMSoothe® Kava;
2. natural anti-itching factor: PCR® Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Extract;
3. Bakuchiol, we are trying to make water soluble Bakuchiol powder.
