Oman customer purchased 100g PCR Glabridin in Nov. 2021. He tested 1% PCR water-soluble Glabridin in his formula, and told me that the result was very effective for lightening, radiance. He told me that PCR Glabridin has a whitening effect after only 10 days.
Glabridin is known as “whitening gold” in cosmetics, but its use is limited due to its high cost. A study shows that the whitening effect of Glabridin equals to 232 times that of VC, 1164 times that of arbutin, 16 times that of hydroquinone (hydroquinone is forbidden to be used in cosmetics).
PCR water-soluble Glabridin is the new product we developed, it has 3-time of Bioavailability for Skin Whitening than ordinary Glabridin. This means that to achieve the same whitening effect, the amount of PCR Glabridin added is 2/3 less than regular Glabridin, so the whitening cost and time is also saved by 2/3.

Here is the basic information of PCR water-soluble Glabridin. It’s white powder with very good water solubility, so it’s easy to be used in cosmetic formula.
Also we did 3 whitening tests of PCR water-soluble Glabridin.
- Color of 3D simulated skin
The apparent color of the skin model was significantly whiter after 0.003% PCR Glabridin treatment compared to the NC group.
Lightness of 3D simulated skin
The apparent lightness (L* value) of 0.003% PCR Glabridin was significantly enhanced by 16.5% compared to the NC group.
Melanin of 3D simulated skin
The melanin particles were significantly reduced after 0.003% PCR Glabridin treatment compared to the NC group.
PCR water-soluble Glabridin is more stable than ordinary Glabridin.
Here is the use condition of PCR water-soluble Glabridin.
- PCR Glabridin is stable at PH 5~6
- Do not use at the temperature above 40℃
