Calendula (Latin name: Calendula officinalis L.), also known as pot marigold, is a perennial herb of the family Asteraceae. Its flower is yellow or orange-yellow. Preparation method:
- Mix calendula officinalis flower extract, grape polyphenol and aloe extract, and freeze in the refrigerator as phase A;
- Mix glycerin, jojoba oil, palmitate, stearic acid and heat to 90°C, stir and dissolve as phase B;
- Mix salicylic acid, octyl-methoxycinnamic acid, hyaluronic acid, and heat to 100°C, stir and dissolve as phase C;
- Use homogenizer to stir, slowly add phase B to phase C, and continue homogenizing for 2 minutes. Then keep temperature at 70-80°C to stir and defoam. When the system is cooled to 50°C, add phase A, while adding vitamin A and zinc oxide. Then continue to stir slowly and discharge at room temperature.
