Plamed launched a speech and participated the exhibition at Ringier PCT 2023

On July 19-20, PCT2023 Personal Care Technology Summit & Exhibition, organized by Ringier, was successfully held in Shanghai. With the theme of “Science and Technology Enabling Sustainable Beauty”, the conference focused on the latest research progress, innovative ideas, cutting-edge market trends, future scientific development prospects and regulation developments in the personal care industry, and other hot topics. Many big names from domestic and foreign beauty and personal care brands, raw material supplier, OEM companies, scientific research institutes, and industry associations gathered in large numbers. The scene is unprecedented.

Plamed, as the theme sharing guest and exhibitor of this conference, while displaying Plamed products for the industry, the founder, Byron Xue, also shared a speech on “New Trend on Plant Extract Ingredients in the Era of Effective Skin Care”.

Mr. Xue mentioned that the era of effective skin care has stepped into maturity. And consumers have higher and higher requirements for skin care products, which are not only natural, safe and gentle, but also effective, long-lasting and visible. As a natural, safe and mild raw material, plant extract raw material has great market potential and development space, but also faces challenges in stability, safety and efficacy. Mr. Xue said that in order to stand out in the era of effective skincare, plant raw materials must enter the era of functional raw materials. What we need to do is to prove its efficacy through scientific research data, also to be able to ensure its stability and safety through advanced technology.

At the same time, Mr. Xue introduced several functional raw materials developed by Plamed, including PMRelief® 9982, PMSoothe® 9390, PMOil-control® 9574 and so on. He introduced that these raw materials are obtained through advanced extraction technology and supramolecular technology with strong anti-inflammatory, soothing and oil control effects respectively. And compared with some other mainstream chemical ingredients on the market, they have stronger efficacy and weaker irritation.

Mr. Xue mentioned that China is a country with rich and diversified plant resources, and that there are many plants with special efficacy and value that have not yet been fully developed and utilized. Plamed will continue to explore the potential of China’s unique plant resources and develop more functional plant raw materials that meet consumer needs and market trends.
