1. PMAnti-AGEs®100 Overview
Glycation reaction is also known as the Merad reaction, it is a natural part of human metabolism in which sugars (e.g., fructose, glucose, etc.) in the body react with proteins to produce glycation products. Glycation reaction is divided into two categories, namely enzymatic glycation reaction and non-enzymatic glycation reaction. Without enzymes, excess sugar in the body will also combine directly with proteins to produce late glycosylation end products, which can lead to dull skin and aging. The occurrence of glycation reaction is closely related to life activities, and the accumulation of glycation end-products can be aggravated by bad life habits and external factors. 4. PMAnti-AGEs®100 Mechanism
The 3D anti-glycation ingredient, PMAnti-AGEs®100, is a synergistic combination of various plant active ingredients that provide a full range of anti-glycation effects from source inhibition, inhibition of intermediate active products, and reduction of all types of skin damage caused by glycation reactions.
1D-Anti-glycation at source: Blocks sugar and protein contact by competitively binding to reducing sugars and proteins.
2D-Inhibition of the glycation process: It can specifically inhibit and remove the intermediate active products of glycation reaction and further inhibit the production of AGEs.

- Biochemical anti-glycation test
In this test, PMAnti-AGEs®100 inhibited advanced glycosylation end products (AGEs) by 32.98%, 50.29%, 70.38% and 78.99% at 0.3%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% concentrations, respectively, which indicated that it had anti-glycosylation effects at all the above concentrations in a concentration-dependent manner.
- Anti-glycation test based on human dermal fibroblasts
Based on fibroblasts: PMAnti-AGEs®100 showed an anti-glycation efficacy of 29% and 31% at tested concentrations of 0.1% and 0.3%, respectively.
- Anti-glycation test based on human skin explant
Based on human-derived skin explant testing: PMAnti-AGEs®100 has an anti-glycation efficacy of 23% at a concentration of 3%.

The results of the biochemical anti-glycation test showed that the anti-glycation efficacy of PMAnti-AGEs®100 was higher than the three mainstream anti-glycation products in the market at 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% concentrations.
