Centella Asiatica Extract

Centella Asiatica Extract, also named Gotu Kola Extract, is triterpenes containing a variety of α-amyrin. Its main active ingredients are Asiatic Acid and Asiaticoside. Both of them belong to triterpenoid saponins. They come from dry grass of centella asiatica. Asiatic Acid in Centella Asiatica Extract has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities. It has inhibitory effect on many kinds of bacteria. Asiatic Acid and Asiaticoside can promote wound healing, and can be used to repair skin scars. Centella Asiatica Extract can accelerate the synthesis of fibroblasts and collagen. It can reduce skin hardness, improve skin nutrition, and facilitate skin metabolism.
