Magnolia officinalis (Latin scientific name: Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils.) is a deciduous tree plant. The content of magnolol in different parts of Magnolia Bark is quite different. The total content of magnolol in magnolia bark and branch bark is 2.30%, and the total content of magnolol in magnolia root bark is 8.22%. However, Magnolia officinalis grows slowly and has a long growth cycle. Magnolia officinalis is now listed as a national second-level wild protected plant in China.
